Then the HUMMER engineers added more. More power, in the form of a new 393 hp 6.2L Vortec V8. More efficiency, thanks to high-tech engine mechanical features like variable valve timing (VVT) and a new heavy-duty 6-speed automatic transmission with tap-up/tap-down shifting. More luxury, with an all-new interior filled with soft-touch surfaces for a refined, premium feel. More safety, with new features like standard equipment roof-mounted head curtain air bags. Flex Its Muscle
	With roughly 20 percent more horsepower than the previous H2 SUT engine and a whopping 415 lb.-ft. of torque, the 6.2L Vortec V8 delivers robust performance on-road and off. The muscular new H2 SUT powertrain also delivers remarkable fuel efficiency and towing capacity increased by 772 kg (1700 lb.).

Thinking Inside The Box
	Thanks to H2 SUT's ingenious standard Midgate, the cargo box can be expanded in seconds whenever you need to haul more gear. Just fold the 2nd-row seats, lower the power rear window and drop the Midgate and you've got a rugged cargo floor more than 1.8 m (6 ft.) long with 4 embedded tie-downs.

Uptown Goes Out-Of-Town
	Inside the H2 SUT, cosmopolitan luxury and off-road ability go together in perfect harmony. The interior is all-new, with more stylish, more comfortable seats, a handsome new instrument panel design and a terrific new family of sound systems.

It Stops At Nothing
	Where other vehicles stop, H2 SUT is just getting going. Its full-time, 8-mode 4-wheel-drive system is engineered to tackle the toughest conditions, and when things get rough, the undercarriage is guarded by nose-to-tail protection. H2 SUT's impressive capabilities also include trailer towing, with a maximum trailer rating of 3720 kg (8200 lb.).

Risk Manager
	The H2 SUT is equipped with a host of advanced features designed to keep your risk to a minimum wherever you travel.
